Oh Happy Wave - Surfing in Tahiti. Not only Teahupoo ....
Yes, everbody is talking about the killer wave of Teahupoo. But Tahiti has more beautiful surf spots to offer, especially when you are not a pro. I am not a surfer at all. I am more into diving, but love watching surfers. As a filmmaker nowadays you cannot travel without a drone anymore. But even in the drone business I wouldn't call myself a pro. But hey, what is it all about? It is about having some fun and being grateful to bring home some decent pictures. "Ohh happy wave" was born by accident. I mean I had no plan when I started. I actually was cleaning up my hard drives and then just started to go, go with the flow - ride the wave ...and that film is the result. I hope you enjoy it .... ocean greetings, Peter

Mako Sharks - Freediving with Mako Sharks in the Azores - Dance the Mako ....
Pico Island, the Azores 2020. We were invited by Frank Wirths's Pico Sport. Divers, freedivers, photographers and filmmakers from Italy, France, Germany and other European countries. Covis 19 was slowing down a bit and travelling was still far from normal, but possible and safe. So we all took the chance to get in the water again, the deep blue atlantic water surrounding the Azores.

Anna von Boetticher is discovering the amazing underwater (land)scapes of Pico Island
Pico Island in the Azores is one, if not the best diving destination in Europe. Known for the shark diving with blue sharks, mako sharks and the mobula or devil rays at the Princess Alice bank. But there is more than that to discover. Not only for scuba divers, but also for freedivers. This sport is getting more popular every year. For the purest form of diving, not much equipment is needed and you are getting into an intense dialogue with yourself and nature.

Tiger Beach, Bahamas - a proWIN pro nature expedition
ProWin - a proWin pro nature expedition to Tiger Beach in the Bahamas. Tiger sharks, lemon sharks, Caribbean reef sharks and nurse sharks. We join a group of 15 divers, some of whom have never dived with tiger sharks before. An experience that is life changing and makes these animals appear in a different light. On board was Dr. Erich Ritte, the world's most renowned expert, when it comes to shark-human interaction.
The Lords of the Sea
French Polynesia is the largest shark sanctuary on our blue planet. Since 2006, the sharks have been protected there as the cultural heritage of the Maori people. The kings of the seas were in ancient traditions as gods and creators of the world, patron saint of certain clans and individuals. Even today they are present in art and culture. We had the great honor to cruise through the Tuamotu Archipelago on the yacht Ethereal and dive with these beautiful creatures by day and by night.

The great white sharks of Guadalupe - a pro WIN pro nature expedition
Ingolf Winter, founder of the company ProWIN and his son Michael, invite a group of friends and employees to the first "proWIN - pro nature Expedition" in Guadalupe Island. An island off the Pacific coast of Mexico, where every year a large number of white sharks gather. The diving group consists of experienced "Haitauchern" and equally bloody beginners. Some have never dived before and others have just obtained their diving license and have never seen sharks in the wild. An interesting and exciting experiment. What feelings, what fears reign before the first encounter. And how does the perception change during the expedition? Look at it. A revealing look into our fears! Guests were the group on the Nautilus Bel Ami, whose equipment and crew leaves nothing to be desired. This is part one of four parts.
Palau
in Micronesia is an absolute dream destination in the diving community. Mantas, sharks, dolphins and colorful reefs. German Channel, Blue Corner and Jellyfish Lake are just three of the highlights that await you in the island state.
Diving the south pass of Fakarava - French Polynesia
Fakarava South Pass is the most beautiful dive site in French Polynesia for many divers. The Tomakohua Pass, better known as Tetamanu, is relatively narrow and concise. But he is packed with life. You can not see the sharks out of sheer fish. Gray reef sharks - oceanic blacktip sharks (Carcharhinus limbatus) - silvertip sharks - blacktip reef sharks - whitetip sharks and rarely a big hammerhead shark. To encounter the latter, you should definitely dive the northern pass of the atoll.
